From Monday, 26 July to Sunday, 1 August 2021 construction work will take place. Schloss Drachenburg can be visited daily from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There may be restrictions in the visitor areas during set-up.

Due to short-term rehearsals it is not possible to visit the castle on Saturday, 31 July and Sunday 1 August. The park, the carriage hall and the outer bailey are accessible free of charge.

From Monday, 2 August Schloss Drachenburg will be closed up to and including Thursday, 12 August 2021. The "Vorburg"/entrance builing of Schloss Drachenburg, the bistro, the museum shop and the special exhibition "Nibelungenlied" with works by the artist Genia Chef, which will be open from 25 July to 24 October 2021 at Schloss Drachenburg, can be visited daily from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The dismantling of the set is planned from Friday, 13 August to Monday, 16 August 2021. During this time, the castle can be visited daily from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There may be individual, short-term restrictions.

You will receive tickets for your visit on site. Appointments or negative tests are not necessary. Due to technical errors, bookings via our online shop are currently not possible.
